Hard, soft and intermediate terrain tires only work well under controlled conditions such as indoor tracks. Unfortunately 99% of us race outdoors where single purpose MX tires don’t cut it. Muddy practice, loamy first moto and baked dry second moto are the norm for most of us. A rain storm could really screw things up. The large knob blocks are staggered perfectly to handle the worst muck and loam. When using the Excelerator you can concentrate on winning instead of wishing that you changed tires between motos. If you want an unfair advantage, use the best tire for changing track conditions.
